Consequently, even analysts who usually have pro-Tesla can not help but call the report on Tesla's income as a "debacle."

But there's more to Tesla than just the bottom line. Of course, the company burns through money, but it should not distract from all the intriguing things the company continues to do in the automotive space. As an excellent example, Tesla's automatic pistol – which usually only makes the news when a serious accident occurs – turned out to be a revolutionary feature that literally saves lives.

The thing is when Tesla of Autopilot prevents an accident, she never does the news, because, well, if there is no accident, there is no real story. The exception, of course, is when the incident with an automatic pilot is captured on video or detailed by the owner of Tesla.

To this end, the owner of Model 3, named Raghu Konka, recently took it to Twitter and said that Tesla's automated gun had prevented his family from entering into what could have been a serious accident. As evidenced by the video below, a pickup truck suddenly moved into the same lane as Konka's model 3, causing the Autopilot to quickly turn the car off the wrong path.

Konka further added that autopilot took control of the situation faster than he could react.

Interestingly, this is not the first time we see the video of Tesla's automatic machine by taking measures to prevent an accident. In the video below, which was released last August, we can see that Tesla quickly turns to the right to avoid a car with no problems overlapping with lanes.
