Michael Owen believes Manchester United should have no problems overcoming neighbors Rockdale and look forward to seeing some young Liverpool in action against MK Downs in their two big games in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
United go into their game against Dale in need of a boost of confidence, only tasting the victory of two of their last six matches in all competitions.
Liverpool have no such problems, having won six out of six in the Premier League, and manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to revive the changes to Milton Keynes' side.
Speaking to BethVictor Owen, he said: "United have no short-term options with Marcus Rashford, who is having fun with what looked like a groin injury against West Ham on Sunday.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaire is optimistic, however, that Mason Greenwood, who scored the winner against Astana on Thursday in the Europa League, will be over the illness that prevented him from traveling to London at the weekend.
"Rockdale have lost three of their last four games in all competitions and I expect United to return to winning ways at home."
On his former sidekick, Liverpool Owen added: "Liverpool spent Sunday the first major test of their credentials for the Stamford Bridge titles and Jurgen Klopp looks likely to mix his talented package at Stadium MK.
"Ryan Brewster will probably make his Liverpool debut against Dons and I'm looking forward to seeing the striker's first appearance in a red shirt. It won't be his last. "
Owen backed United to lead at half-time and full-time with a 1/3 chance, and also for the Fancies Brewster to score at any time on 8/11.
