A New Zealand man who died while teaching in Cambodia remembered the family as a gentle giant.
Isaac van Schalkwyk, a permanent resident of New Zealand, died on April 18 for meningitis. He was 31 years old.
The Auckland-based nurse, Nina Griff, said her parents, who live in South Africa, went to the end of the Easter weekend when they received a call that Van Schalkkick had died.
