Apple has announced its latest Apple Play promotion and all about National Parks. Apple will donate $ 10 to the National Parks Foundation for each purchase made with Apple Pay on the Apple website, Apple retailer, or Apple Store app.
Reported by MacRumors, Apple customers who subscribe to Apple Pay promotions received an email informing them of the event. According to Apple, the promotion only has two limits:
Limited to the first 100,000 transactions. Subject to minimum $ 10 purchase.
The promotion runs from Saturday, August 17th to Sunday, August 25th, ending on National Park Day without fees, one day a year when National Parks are open to all with no admission fee.
Apple Pay promotion coincides with the next Apple Watch challenge, which also landed on August 25th. The challenge also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Grand Canyon National Park and National Park's birthday.
This is at least the third year Apple has been promoting donations along with Apple Watch's challenge for the National Park Foundation, though this year Apple has increased their donation tenfold.
If you have something to buy at Apple next week, be sure to use Apple Pay to support parks, then reduce it by completing the next Apple Watch challenge.
