Venezuela expects more than 70 countries to participate in tourism fairs

In an interview for the Con Amorín program, from Venezolana de Televisión, the portfolio owner confirmed that the event will take place in the Parque Bolívar spaces at the Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda airbase, in the state of Miranda.

He also explained that in the leisure industry 148 stands of domestic and foreign investors will be created, who will show their product to the world through the Venezuelan platform, by November 25.

Lugo said that at these international fairs he would meet with the authorities of the countries and tour operators, who confirmed their help in order to gain experience in order to increase the national portfolio, rich in areas of nature, tradition and indigenous culture of the region.

He also stressed that Filven 2018, in addition to exhibiting the gastronomic and craft characteristics of this country, "will try to reverse the media campaign for discrediting against Simón Bolívar's homeland".

"The entire tourism sector, both private and public, has only one goal: to reverse this international campaign and to increase tourism, and that is what we intend to achieve," he said regarding the importance of unifying alliances with Venezuelan entrepreneurs and strengthening the tourist infrastructure of the nation

Lugo stressed that the aim of the Ministry of Tourism is to become one of Venezuela's sustainable economic sources.
