For the seventh consecutive year, the list is topped by Apple, Google and Amazon, which together add up to more than $ 527,000 million.
US marketing consultant Interbrand this week released a list of the world's top 100 most valuable brands in 2019, a ranking that has been topped by companies in the tech sector Apple, Google and Amazon for the seventh consecutive year.
These three companies together add up to more than $ 527,000 million. In the "top ten", Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, McDonald's and Disney follow in this order.
Two new additions
The dominant sector is the automotive industry, with 15 brands, followed by financial services, with 12 brands, technology, luxury and consumer products, with 9 brands each.
While some companies are revalued over the previous year, such as MasterCard (+ 25%), the value of others has fallen, as is the case with multinationals General Electric (-22%).
The list includes two new companies, Uber (87th) and LinkedIn (98th), and one that hasn't been in that rank for six years, Dell's multinational specialized computer science (63rd).
