The hockey season officially began Wednesday night. While celebrating the banner-raising ceremony, St. Louis Blues broke tradition and wore a Stanley Cup sticker on their jerseys.
While the teams sold Stanley Cup champagne jerseys, no team wore a Stanley Cup jersey sticker during a banner-raising ceremony. The white blues sticker was immediately noticeable on their bright blue T-shirts.
The road is a miniature version of the blues champions banner. The design of the blues banner is the same as the Capitals 2018, with different colors and team logo.

The trails awoke to a Twitter conversation, with people noticing it looks temporary, and others speculating that they would be worn only tonight.
@russianmachine What about the Blues Stanley Punch Cup? It looks temporary.

Tonight there is a sticker from Stanley on the blouse jersey.

The jumper's blades carry a Stanley Cup sticker, similar to the one seen in photos of the Flyers in 1974-75 and hockey cards (which they never brought into play). Assuming this is only for tonight.
