Shooting at New Hampshire wedding may be linked to minister's murder

A New Hampshire man charged with opening a wedding at a wedding is the scalp of a minister who was shot to death earlier this month, authorities said.

The son-in-law at the wedding is also charged with second-degree murder in the death of Minister Louis Garcia, NBC Boston reports.

The celebration of life for Garcia was scheduled after a wedding at the same church in Pelham, New Hampshire.

Garcia was killed October 1 at his home in Londonderry, about 10 miles from Pelham. The son of the groom, Brandon Castiglione, 24, is charged with second-degree murder in his death, NBC Boston reports.

Now Garcia's stepfather, Dale Holloway, 37, faces charges of attempted murder, assault and other crimes in Saturday's wedding shoot, authorities said

New Hampshire Attorney General Benjamin Agati has said investigators are looking into whether the two incidents are related, NBC Boston reports.

Three people were injured in the shootout, including the groom, Mark Castiglione, 60, who was shot in the head and the bishop of the Pentecostal Church in New England, Stanley Homat, 75, who was shot dead. The choice has been hospitalized in serious condition.

NBC Boston reported earlier this month that Garcia was trying to help Brandon Castiglione "through a difficult time".
