College Soccer Results, Top 25 Rankings, Schedules, Games Today: Notre Dame in Action, Wisconsin-Indiana

In the 14th week of the college football season, 11 of the top 13 teams in action are scheduled to take part, including all of the top six, as the college football playoff and vault positioning race will take the lead at home. All eyes will be on No. 4 Ohio and No. 5 Texas A&M in the early game lists before playing No. 2 Notre Dame and No. 6 Florida this afternoon, followed by No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Clemson tonight.

The Ohio State match in the state of Michigan will be especially important for Bucky (4-0) as they want to overcome their precarious case of joining the college football playoffs. They have already seen two matches canceled, which means they will play a maximum of seven matches before the final CFP selections are made. Ohio has played just four games so far, compared to eight for Alabama, nine for Notre Dame, nine for Clemson, seven for Texas A&M and eight for Florida.

So if Bucky fights the Michigan State 2-3 team that upset the victories against Michigan and Northwest this season, it could give the selection committee a basis to use Aggie or Gators in the fourth slot. That, of course, would only happen if Texas A&M tackled Auburn and Florida beat Tennessee while college football drama continued to heat up as the weather cooled.

CBS Sports will be here at every step of the way to keep you updated with the latest results, highlights and stories throughout the day. All the time east
