If you go anywhere Beyoncé, consider what you wear or want to appear. Queen Bey and Jay Jay Z had floor jaws when they appeared at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on November 15. Read on to see why no one outgrows this powerful duo and why Beyoncé has once again sparked the best reactions.
Why is Beyonce such a fashion icon?
Beyonce is not your pet fashion icon. As a recipient of the 2016 American Fashion Icon Council of Fashion Designers Award, she's literally made magazine shoots.
The singer sells stadiums, but rarely gives interviews about her enviable style. It's almost rare to see her on the red carpet or in the casino next door on a Friday night.
In her CFDA speech, she said that fashion was a part of her life as long as she could remember, explaining in detail her biggest impact.
"His influence on me actually started before I was born. Many of you guys don't know that, but my grandmother was a seamstress, "she said. "My grandparents didn't have enough money and couldn't afford my mother's Catholic school tuition."
She went on to add: "So my grandmother sewed clothes for priests and nuns and made uniforms for students in exchange for my mother's education. Then she handed this gift to my mother and taught her how to sew. "
The fashion gene then landed with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, who is credited with signing the Kids Kids signature.
"My mother and my uncle, God rested our soul, made all our first costumes, individually tailoring hundreds of crystals and pearls, putting so much passion and love in every little detail. When I wore these clothes, I felt like Caless. I had an extra suit of armor. It was much deeper than any brand name. "
Here's why Beyonce is thrilled at the John Carter Foundation Gala weekend
It can never be surpassed, Beyoncé's last nightly outfit is remembered. She posted all the angles on Instagram to show off the sheer number of shining sequences.
Bay paired the knockout gown with the cloak of Judith Liber, which was adorned to resemble a cup. The look wasn't complete until she threw on comfortable heels and earrings. The "single woman" let her long hair down in loose, sleek waves.
Jay Z may not be the photographer, but he still wore the classic black suit.
The reactions from Beyonce's photography fans are nothing short of glorious.
"We want a queen queen," said one. "Excuse me," another added. "I'm going to Christmas party," added a third.
It is clear that the Queen spoke without a word.
Who is the John Carter Foundation and who was separated from the gala?
The John Carter Foundation mission statement said the organization "is helping people facing socio-economic difficulties to continue their education in higher education institutions". The foundation was founded by Jay Jay Z and his mother Gloria in 2003.
The black-tie, gala weekend star appeared at a silent auction, high-rocker Blackjack tournaments, and a performance by Grammy winner Alicia Keys. Other guests included DJs Khaled and Robin Roberts, Mike Mill, Joe Gotti and Jat Joe.
According to Billboard, the proceeds will go towards "funding championship college workshops, bus trips, study abroad opportunities and community goodwill programs for those in need", primarily for SKF.
"Equipping our youth with the tools of success will always be a priority for me and my family," said Jay Z. "I look forward to continuing that mission at this year's John Carter Foundation Gala Weekend, where we will celebrate our scientists, Sand continues to support young people in a significant way."
Moral? Beyonce doesn't mind ”and Jay Z. They only change the world one gala, one dress and one song at a time.
