The season in Washington took the worst ages.
The running quarterback Alex Smith was kicked out of the box with ankle injury in the middle of the third Sunday's game against Houston Texans. A 34-year-old passer-by was soon excluded by the team.
Smith suffered a macabre injury after being thrown to the ground by Texas defenders Kareem Jackson and J.J. Watt. Colt McCoy quickly took control of the red 17-7 year old skins by developing a quick touchdown to attract Washington in three points.
One wonders if we will see Smith again this season. The Redskins hold on to the top of the NFC in the East, but they are waiting for quick changes before Thursday's game of Thanksgiving with Cowboys.
When Smith is pushed aside, the already-fighting ground attack is in the world of suffering in Washington.
