5 movies you probably forgot about in 2019

2019 was a year of remembrance in the field of film. From critically acclaimed indie films like Sweet boy to cashier fogs like Lion King and Toy Story 4, there is really something for everyone. In all of these new releases created this year, you have more than likely forgotten some of them in the shift.

"Alita: Angel of the Battle"

Alita: Battle Angel was unreliable from the beginning due to the fact that he was pulled back several times. The film seemed to polarize critics, many either really liked it or didn't really. Despite all this, it is director Robert Rodriguez's highest film. But due to the fact that it was released in early February, many probably forgot that the film was released this year.

Captain Marvel

Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, directed by Brie Larson, has been a hit commercially and critically, it is hard to believe it was released in 2019, as Marvel films did. Both Spider-Man: Far from home, and of course, The Avengers: Endgame were released after Captain Marvel. Disney and Marvel don't seem to be having fun any time soon. 2020 (which we will see posting on black Widow and Eternities) may be the only year in a while we haven't seen Marvel's 3-4 films released.

Miss Ball

American Movie 2019, based on a 2011 Mexican movie of the same name, was released in February. She stars as Rodriguez in the title role alongside Ismail Cruz Cordova and Anthony Mackie. However, the movie came and went without many people noticing. This was more than likely due to the negative reviews she received from critics and the fact that she did not make the move to the box office, earning only $ 15m against her $ 15m budget.

"Men in Black: International"

Led by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson Man in black it had all the right ingredients on paper. How you can review it Thor: Ragnarok co-star, add Emma Thompson and Rebecca Ferguson for good measure, and no hits? Despite grossing $ 253 million worldwide, the almost non-existent reaction of fans and critics has made this film a memorable one.

Disney has gone wild in terms of re-creating classic films. Just look at the success of Lion King. However, one remake that was not successful was Dambo The film barely made it to the box office and received mixed reviews from critics, despite the cast, including Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Michael Keaton and Thunder's daughter Nico Parker's big movie debut.
