Curry PC World has confirmed that a worker at their Folkestone store tested positive for coronavirus.
The worker, who last visited the store on Tuesday (December 1st), received his test result on Thursday night (December 3rd) before notifying the store on Friday (December 4th).
They are reportedly doing well and isolating themselves, as well as a small number of employees who have been in close contact with them.
The store says that they have established precautionary measures for KOVID-19, including deep cleaning, direct cleaning of frequently used places and an internal trace and trace system.

A Currys PC World spokesman said: “Unfortunately, we can confirm that a colleague at our Folkstone store tested positive for Covid-19.
“Fortunately, they are doing well.
“As soon as they informed us, we worked quickly to stimulate our internal tracking and tracing process, through which a small number of colleagues were identified as coming into close contact and were also asked to isolate themselves as a precaution.
“In addition, the work area of the affected colleague was fenced and deeply cleaned. “We will continue to be vigilant and support our colleagues.”
