Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has two classic Modern Warfare 2 maps, but while fans can see them in the distance, unfortunately, they still can't play.
After its announcement, Modern Warfare was marked as a soft reboot of the popular sub-series "Call of Duty" by Infinity Ward. Although not a direct sequel to the popular story, there are still many attacks on its predecessors – especially in the campaign.
But when it comes to multiplayer, those restart maps that many fans might have been waiting for have not yet been found. Of course, several have speculated that they will appear later on the line, but as of now, there are no nostalgic settings to make them happen.
However, if players take a close look at the Tavorsky Bridge military war card, they will be able to spot familiar sites from Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty YouTuber BlameTruth noted that Invasion and Scrapyard are visible in Modern Warfare – the former being just above the Ground War map. It's not just a hint and garbage on the old map, however, everywhere.
As for Scrapyard, well, that is apparently visible in the "Spec Ops" mission – complete with those air pipes that have become the sky for anyone running a popular grenade launcher.
The discovery of Scrapyard, at least in some form, is not entirely new, as one player has found a map of similar appearance in the open sand section of Spex Ops.
The name has been named in previous leaks, with YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, listing them along with other popular maps like Crash, Rust, and Terminal in the first piece of DLC for Modern Warfare.
It is not known now whether these maps will actually be released or if Infinity Ward has just used them in game to complete their other locations.
However, this will not be the first time this has happened, as in Black Option 3, the Infection card actually used the "Quarantine" icon as a reinforced wallid.
