A CELEBRATED WOMAN sheds four stones and discovered a lump on the chest that was hidden from layers of flat.
Jan Oliver, who was 20 in size, says her dramatic weight loss – from 14 to 7 pounds to 9 pounds – helped her to save her life.
The florist, 60, of Herefordshire revealed that she used to consume over 3,000 calories per day.
She clung to pounds after she hung up on chewing gum and biscuits, and chew cheese and biscuits every night.
Yan decided to go on a diet after being horrified by the pictures of himself after a weekend away with his friends.
After joining the "Slimming World" in 2016, she lost two stones in three months.
One morning, however, she noticed a grape lump on her right breast.
When they went to doctors, cancer was diagnosed.
She said: "The tumor has been there for a long time, but I have never noticed it because it was under layers of fat.
"As soon as I lost weight, it was visible. I strongly believe that if I did not go on a diet, today I will not be here."
Jan was subjected to chemotherapy and had an operation to remove the cancerous tumor.
After being given all clear, she now fell below 10 and now is about 10.
From her past lifestyle, she added: "I ate only whole packages of biscuits and wine chew and I would have a cream in every meal.
"I will eat a whole cheese block at the same time, but after a diet I lose weight very quickly."
Turning to the moment when he found the lump, Jan explained: "When I began to lose weight, I found a lump in my right city, it was the size of the grapes, not the pain.
