One of the daughters of Cambridge's favorite fashion designers was scared off her watch this morning by ax-moped robbers.
Amanda Vakeli, a British fashion designer who provided evening dresses to countless celebrities and royalties, is headed to Chelsea, west London, this morning.
The thieves let the tires out of her car, stopping her before driving and threatening an ax.
Ms Vakeli, 57, was said to be unharmed, but a source close to her said "obviously this was a frightening experience". She is said to be determined to help capture the sorcerers.

Her partner Hugh Morrison posted on the Internet: & # 39; Urgent, Amanda Wakley was swallowed this morning for her watch as she got into her car.
"The moped raiders had earlier dropped the tires to do the investigation and came out behind it, threatening an ax.
"She's unharmed, but naturally shocked.
"The police were incredible, but they say this happens 5-6 times a day in Kensington and Chelsea's Royal District and asks us to share it.
"There are many witnesses and police believe the culprits will be caught.
"In the meantime, Amanda just wants to share her experience and hopes that everyone will stay safe."
He shared a photo of the pillars, one wearing a blue motorcycle helmet and giving the moped a license plate like the LD08 HTZ.
The Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex are fans of Ms Wakely's designs and constantly warn them on formal occasions
Police are investigating. A spokesman said: "Police were called at about 9.30am on Wednesday, November 13, to report a robbery in SW10.
"Hertz, a woman who believed in her 50s, was threatened by two men on a moped.
"One was armed with an ax. Her watch was stolen during the incident. No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made and investigations into the circumstances are continuing.

Ms Vakeli becomes the latest celebrity to be a victim of moped criminals after stand-up comic Michael McIntyre last year and Arsenal footballer Mesut Ozil earlier this year.
