Seven skiers were taken with an avalanche in Bagnes VS. Four of the Swiss were injured – the three remained uninspired.
Seven skiers were hit by an avalanche on Sunday afternoon at Bagnes VS. The mountain catastrophe occurred around 12:30 pm in the Col du Tournelon Blanc region (3 & # 39; m in altitude). Accompanied by a mountain guide, the group headed for Glacier to the Kosbezier when an avalanche of 300 meters and 100 meters was pulled out of the loose.
The victims of the avalanche are Swiss. All survived the catastrophe, but four rounds of skiers were injured when the avalanches collapsed. Three injured were taken to the Martigny VS hospital, the fourth injured were taken to the hospital in Sion. The three unfortunate tourist skiers were flown to the Panosier hut.
The rescue operation was complicated by the weather. The prosecutor's office opened an investigation into the avalanche accident. (RAD)
