The son of Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., is called to testify before the Senate, according to US media. The data comes after Donald Trump issued a special presidential order to halt the extradition of prosecutor Robert Miller's report on co-operation with Russia ahead of the 2016 elections.
Trump Jr. previously applied for a private commission when he was questioned for a meeting in 2016 with a Russian lawyer who offered to hire information about Hillary Clinton. A person standing close to Trump Jr. tells the Wall Street Journal that he offered to answer questions in writing, but would challenge the notice he calls to appear in person.
