A whole bunch of pictures came out on the network speaker. According to German Winfuture, who first came across the images, these are original marketing images made by Sonos themselves, which appear to have leaked out of the company.
The pictures show a portable Sonos speaker with a handle. With a button on the back, the speaker can be turned into a regular Bluetooth portable speaker. The speaker is then powered by a rechargeable battery through a USB-c socket.
The speaker can also be plugged into the base station where it is charged. Therefore, the speakerphone is the perfect complement for anyone who wants to expand their listening to music in the garden or on the balcony.
However, it is much larger than many regular, smaller Bluetooth speakers – and taller than the Sonos One – also, not every beach speaker is probably in the first place.
The name of the speaker is claimed to be Sonos Move.
According to The Verge, the speaker should support Google Assistant and Airplay 2. At home, and connected to Wi-Fi, Move will appear in the Sonos app like any Sonos speaker, but with a battery indicator. In Bluetooth mode, the speaker cannot be controlled by the Sonos app, but it works like any Bluetooth speaker.
Other details such as battery life and price are not known. The planned launch date for the speaker is August 26th.
