The largest outlet center in Slovakia, according to Trend.sk, has been closed. Several brands have also informed about closed stores via social networks. Many of them offered customers high discounts on the last day of their business.
The closure of the center was the result of problems that hit the complex since its opening. Restructuring has not helped.
Already in July this year, the center declared bankruptcy. The complex near Voderadov near Trnava then turned to the bankruptcy courts.
The owner was looking for an investor who would help him out of financial problems, but according to Trend, he could not find him. In recent years, Voderad has faced fierce competition, especially at the Austrian shopping center in Parndorf.
It is much longer on the market and for people there are more stores with a larger selection of products available.
One Fashion Outlet 1 belonged to the entrepreneur's portfolio by Ladislav Bašternák until 2016. He also built the luxurious residence of Bonaparte, in which also former Prime Minister Robert Fico.
