Samsung already has its first flexible mobile phone, but it will not sell yet

After practically unknown Chinese producer Royole and his FlexPai, another smartphone hits the market. This time, however, with a reputable manufacturer's logo, which was only a few days away. During the Samsung Developer Conference, the manufacturer presented the expected model with a flexible housing.

However, the novelty of Samsung is not real. It is a concept that uses the so-called Infinity Flex display. This is a completely new type of display that is made of flexible layers.

Unfortunately, unlike Royole, Samsung did not say anything about the new smartphone. From what the producer showed, it is clear that the display is not yet installed in any serial smartphone. Justin Denison, marketing of mobile products SVP Samsunug showed only a box with a small front display and Intinic Flex Display. It should be 7.8 ".

Because the display will be almost square, the applications will not be displayed all over the desktop, but also side by side for full multitasking. But for programmers, Samsung has prepared a complete documentation on the possible development of applications for a new type of display.

This smartphone will once again be working on the latest Androide with the new One UI, which Samsung also introduced during the introductory lecture on SDC 2018. One UI interface will be much easier, several elements will be larger and user-centered.

The foldable display after the new one will also be used by Google and its Android operating system.
