Traveling in public transport has its limits. It reminds passengers of the transport company Bratislava (DPB).
Bicycles can be transported on weekdays from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, without any time limit. DPB informs it on its website.
Passengers can pass the bicycle on public transport, but always with the driver's knowledge.
The DPB recalls that priority is given to wheelchair passengers, as well as to the stroller, regardless of the order in which they arrived. Handing or unloading your bicycle can only be carried out with a door marked with the corresponding pictogram, and can be transported only in the vehicle at the place intended for transport.
A child up to 10 years old can only carry a bicycle while being accompanied by an adult.
Thus, one traveler can carry a bicycle or scooter, with a maximum of two bicycles in the vehicle at a time, but in a coupled wheelchair set, the bicycle is only allowed in the first car.
The bicycle has a ticket of 0.35 percent. Travelers can buy it in vending machines (yellow) and in multifunctional machines (red), in all DPB, aks. sales outlets, also in PNS.
They can also use an electronic wallet so they can buy a car ticket of 0.32 cents.
