Harry Redknapp has given some advice to Tottenham’s extraterrestrial midfielder Dele Ali, arguing that the Englishman “should keep his head down”.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp claims that Share Ali must “lower his head” after the recent struggles of the midfielder in North London.
Ali has only appeared in two of Tottenham’s six Premier League games this season and has not been included in Jose Mourinholineup for their recent games against West Ham United and Burnley.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the English capital due to his lack of playing time, with Redknapp insisting Ali must focus on his football and look to turn his fortune around Tottenham.
Talking to talk SPORTRedknapp said: “I’m such a big fan of Ali. He ‘s a great talent, so it’ s sad to see [what is happening].
“He has to be careful. Maybe it’s a little crossroads [in his career] in the moment. Who knows what happens behind closed doors.
“Joseo sees him every day and obviously there is something he does not like and that is why he did not choose him and kick him out of the squad.
“Dele Ali needs to get back to the player we know he can be. He needs to keep his head down and concentrate on his football. When he plays well, he is a fantastic player.”
Ali, who boasts 63 goals from 227 appearances for the Lilivites, is under contract in North London until 2024.
