SINGAPORE: Twenty-two people have been taken to hospital after a car and bus collided on the Yurong Island Highway on Sunday morning (December 6th).
The Singapore Civil Defense Forces (SDFF) said they had been warned of a road accident along the Yurong Island Highway at around 7am on Sunday.
The accident happened at the end of the highway, police said.
Twenty-one passengers on the bus, all men, were taken to NG Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and National University Hospital (NHH), police said.
The driver of the car, a 42-year-old man, was also aware when he was taken to NUH.
Everyone was aware when they were taken to hospital, police said.
The SCDF said eight people had been taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, 11 to NUH and three to SGH.
The video circulating on social networks showed a bus shot down by him, and the front half of the car was crushed.
Police investigations are ongoing.
