Fana in duet for the cause of albinos

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, Fana's football field rejected the world in favor of a free concert to pay tribute to the little Ramata Diarra killed on the eve of Mali's presidential election. A colorful audience settled early, because free salsa Keita's concerts are not made every day.

All dressed in white, Ousmane Vele Dialo, albino, arrives at the concert. "I come from Bamako with my wife and children to follow the concert and to support our cause, paying tribute to the Diarra Foundation," he says. Like other albinians and guests of honor, the Dialo family moved to the official lodge, just before the gigantic podium with sounds and lights for the stage. However, "I do not like too much light, especially giant lamps at the scene, but tonight I accept for our cause," Usmane Vale Diallo said.

Shortly thereafter, the procession of vehicles and cars passes through the main gate of the football field. This is the arrival of guests and artists, accompanied by the police, some of which were deployed throughout the concert hall in downtown Fana.

"We look at the safety of all. Fana has never seen such a human grouping, let alone a great concert with international artists," National Guard Director Mamadi Toure said.

"I'm very happy to be tonight, I came from Segu for Salif Keita's concert. I did not know that there will be so many people and everyone will dance without losing it," rejoices the spectator Mariam Kone.

The first part of the concert were the first stones of aspirant musicians, comedians and sculptors. "It starts very well, everyone sings and dances to thank Salif Keita and pay tribute to the Diarra Foundation, saw her parents on stage, and they thanked everyone. Here in Fana, we are just seeking the release of those arrested in this case, "said Lassana Diabata, Fana's great father.

"Albanianism is not a disease, we should not be products for politicians and laughter for some of our parents. I condemn crimes against all albinos, I am Fana, I am Ramata, I am all victims of the inability of some of the thirst for power," says Karim Dialo, Malaysian trembling.

Following the young Tuareg Kader, who made public dance, Safi Diabata, in an enhanced atmosphere, retained the course with three titles. "With Salif Keita, albinos are now confident: we are women, we are mothers and we know what a child is, so we are in this fight, nobody should sacrifice albino for his power, no one should sell hair or albino organs. It's too much. I came to Fana because I have to fight this fight to save the lives of people, "said Sapi Diabate, a Malaysian artist, during his performance on stage.

Fana's youngsters came out for this concert. "We demand the release of our friends and friends, it asks Fana. They said they were arrested, because the state did not want other problems during the elections, the elections are over, they must be released," they want.

The same desire was repeated by Salif Keita, who was preceded by Ismael Lo of Senegal, the only international artist who took part in this great concert. "We are here tonight, so what happens in the frame will never happen again, and that must be a fight for all of us. Never again in Fana, Mali, Africa and the world," said Senegalese artist Ismail Loch.

"I ask, for God's sake, to ask the President of the IBK to release the detained person. Please, Mr. President, these people will be released," said Salif Keita before the start of his performance. The audience danced for 45 minutes with titles in honor of the courage of women. Track from his new album before closing with the track entitled "White and Black", respect for albinos.

"I had a chance to play on stage with Salif Keita," 9-year-old girlfriend Mamie Toure exclaimed, who spent the whole evening playing together with other albinos.

For his last piece of the evening, Salif brought to the stage all the Albinos and delegations from Africa and the world. "I am very happy to be at this great concert, we thank Fana for this great mobilization. I am proud to be an albino, I am Rama, never again," sang the young Senegalese artist Mah Kudia, an albino.

"I am very pleased and happy. Thank God, everything went smoothly, without extinction, even if the stadium was packed, it's not easy to collect 5,000 people for such a concert. We thank everyone, the parents of the Ram, the people from Fana, to this cute public and to all delegations from around the world for our activities and this great concert, "said Keita Kuma Makalu, president of the Salif Keita Foundation.

Before leaving the scene, Salif Keita thanked all the participants, the people of Fana, the Rama Diarra family and other Albans, who came from all over the world. "No soul is superior to each other, we will not let it happen This is the beginning of the struggle in Fana Why do we take the life of an innocent, five-year-old girl? We will make this fight. We do not want to see him in Mali again, they agree because from now on we will no longer be silent in the face of this aggression or attack on our lives, "concluded Salif Keita in a very nice way.

Diarra Ava Toure, mother of Ramata, killed an albino girl

"I began to thank everyone for this evening: At first I felt lonely, but with this great concert and condemnation made before the world, I no longer feel lonely. Thanks to Salif Keita, goodwill and the people of Fana, justice is working on this issue The authorities gave us assurances, but with the convictions I just heard things will move positively. Today everyone knows that a 5-year-old girl was killed in Fana because she is an albino; the world has mobilized for the cause of my daughter Ramata Diarra, that this I did not lose anymore so that albinos can live in peace everywhere in the world. We ask the authorities to release people who are arrested because Fana's people do not understand why they were arrested while the main killer can not be found. "
