New Delhi: The fight for Apple Watch and the Samsung Gear smartwatch, the Chinese technology giant Huawei, launched the Watch GT on Tuesday with ultra-high battery life starting at 15,990 rubles.
Huawei Watch GT will be available at Amazon.in starting March 19 at 16,990 RS for the classic edition and 15,990 RS for the sports edition, a company that fights against legal battles in the United States due to a ban on its products announced.
"We have received a tremendous response to our current product placement and we are now thinking about expanding our portfolio and providing our Huawei ecosystem with full experience here," said Tornado Pan, Country Manager (Huawei Brand), Consumer Business Group, Huawei India.
"HUAWEI Watch GT refers to one of the most common pains in carrying: battery life," Pan added.
Huawei Watch GT integrates functional specifications into a compact body with a thickness of 10.6 mm and has a display of 1.49 inches, 454 × 454 AMOLED.
The intelligent watch body incorporates a double-crowned design with stainless steel and ceramic frames.
Huawei claims that the Watch GT uses an innovative smart energy saving algorithm that allows the clock to enter normal mode if it identifies a "dynamic scenario" or a low power consumption model if it identifies a "static scenario", allowing the smart watch stay up to two weeks on a frequent use mode.
Watch GT supports 24-hour continuous monitoring of the heart and can detect the user's exercise status before entering the exercise mode, Huawei said.
The company also launched the Band 3 Pro, a new smart bracelet that supports tracking capabilities, including heart rate and sleep monitoring for Rs 4,699.
