Nike has launched a subscription to children's sneakers

These days, almost everything is available in the form of a subscription, from music to movies to groceries. Nike is happy to take part in the trend and offer a shoe subscriber service.

The Nike Adventures Club is a subscription for parents of children from 2 to about 10 years. Parents can choose 12 pairs of shoes per year for $ 50 per month, 6 pairs per year for $ 30 per month or 4 pairs per year for $ 20 per month.

More than 100 different shoes

Parents can determine the size and desired shoes themselves, though Nike will also make suggestions when parents do not want to think about anything. More than a hundred different shoes are available, including Converse All Stars. The child's name will appear in each box.

It also becomes possible to order different sizes and then return if it does not fit. Nike promises to recycle or donate shoes.

Still in the Netherlands

Nike has more shoe subscription plans. For example, the company reports to CNBC that it is considering a subscription to running shoes.

Nike's registration form does not recognize Dutch zip codes. It is not yet known when the subscription will be available in the Netherlands.
