The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reduced the standard quarantine period for KOVID-19 from 14 to 10 or even, in some cases, seven days
On Health Secretary Mexican discarded reduction for now time quarantine by COVID-19 from 14 to seven days, just like Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This was pointed out by the director of epidemiology, Jose Luis Alomi, who noted that at least eight countries have significant epidemic activity KOVID-19.
It is a reduction that targets international traveler protocols (from both the United States and Europe), so people have had to be in shelter for 14 days, a little to favor this (viral) activity or act in a time when they can “integrates into activities,” he explained.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has shortened the standard quarantine period for KOVID-19 from 14 to 10 and, in some cases, seven days last Wednesday.
The 14-day quarantine was based on the incubation period of the coronavirus and the time it may take for a person to become infected after exposure to the virus.
Dr Henry Welke, CDC-19 Incident Manager at CDC, noted that the benefits of the new quarantine “could reduce stress on the public health system and communities, especially as new infections increase rapidly”.
