Harry Maguire wore the man of the match for Manchester United in his club debut against Chelsea, but one man does not.
Speaking to Sky Sports, former Real Madrid star Rafael van der Wart slammed Harry Maguire and noted that on previous occasions, he considered the central defender to be "the worst player on the pitch".
"I worked for Dutch television during the UEFA League of Nations and I remember saying 'Harry Maguire was by far the worst player on the field,'" he told Sky Sports. & # 39;
"Then, two months later, he's signing for £ 80m!"

The statement came before Maguire came on at Old Trafford against Chelsea, where he impressed United fans as well as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjair.
The Red Devils delivered a stunning 4-0 win in their first Premier League game, with goals from Marcus Rashford, Anthony Marial and another new signing of Daniel James.
In addition to Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire proved to be one of the top scorers for United, making the former Leicester City man the most expensive defender in the history of the game.
