If your New Year's resolution was something like "drink more water," you know how much hydration can be right.
Running a busy life can sometimes change even simple things, such as drinking enough water for everyday challenges. As a result, you can walk with a mild dehydration without even realizing it.
Here are some subtle signs that you are dehydrated that you may not notice them.
You catch every cold in the office.

A weak immune system may be a sign that your diet and hydration must work, according to Harvard Medical School.
Although skipping an ordinary glass of water with dinner will probably not cause immediate flu, letting your body become chronically dehydrated, it may leave you prone to ordinary errors, such as a cold.
You always reach for the lip balm.

Still burying in your pockets or lipstick bag? According to Healthine, chapped lips are a subtle sign of dehydration. Try to fill the lip balm with a lot of water to keep it soft and elastic.

Dehydration can cause dryness of the whole body, including the mouth.
According to WebMD, saliva production slows down when you're dehydrated. Because spit has antibacterial properties, insufficient amounts can cause bacterial overgrowth in the mouth. This in turn can lead to stinky breath.
You have dark circles under your eyes.
Applying on the corrector? Your alarm clock may not be responsible for these dark circles.
Dehydration is a frequent flood when it comes to sunken or dark skin around the eyes, according to Healthline. This is because the skin around the eyes is very close to the underlying bones, and the lack of fluids can make the blood vessels more visible.

One of the insidious symptoms of dehydration is the increase in appetite. This usually happens when you are hungry for thirst.
"Mild dehydration is often masked as a feeling of hunger when really your body just needs fluids," said a spokesman for the American Academy of Nutrition and Nutritionist Alissa Rumsey, RD, Health said.
A good way to reduce mindless snacking is to make sure you have a glass of water before you put this bag of fries.
And you want sweets more than spicy food.
When the body confuses the feelings of thirst with hunger, the desire for sweetness rather than salty snacks is more likely.
According to Dr. Joan Kent, dehydration can actually lead to more hunger behaviors. In an article from LinkedIn, Kent wrote: "Sweet food cravings are also common because the glycogen production process involves water and glucose, circulating sugar in the body, and dehydration makes it difficult for the body to produce glycogen, not just release it."
Sugar is a quick and easy source of glucose, so you can reach for cookies or fruit more often if you do not get enough water.
Your difficult training does not leave you sweaty.
If your skin feels dry and fresh after a hard workout, it may be a sign that you are seriously dehydrated.
According to Aaptiva, the most common reason you do not sweat is dehydration.
Achieving this stage in dehydration means that you must drink some fluids ASAP and potentially seek medical help, especially if you have any other signs of dehydration.

According to the American Medical Library, skin with healthy moisture levels will jump back into place after grasping between two fingers and support for a few seconds. This is called a normal skin turgor.
On the other hand, the skin of a person who is dehydrated will take a moment or two to return to normal. This is usually a symptom of moderate to severe dehydration, so you may notice other symptoms when your skin starts losing elasticity.
A good place to check for a lack of skin turgor is the abdomen or lower arm.
Between breaks in the bathroom takes more than three hours.

The subtle hint that your body does not get the hydration it needs is to wait often for more than three hours after traveling to the toilet.
According to Healthline, most people urinate about six or seven times in 24 hours. This translates into a bathroom break of approximately three hours during the day. Although some people may pee less depending on factors such as bladder size and drug use, you should think about hydrating more often if you find yourself in the bathroom several times a day. It may be helpful to use the application to track water intake or visits to bathrooms.
You have itchy, flaky scalp.

You probably know that dehydration can cause the skin to dry, but you may not be aware that dryness can extend to the scalp. Cleveland Clinic noticed that the lack of enough water can lead to itching and drying of the scalp.
Although there are other conditions that may cause itching at the top, lack of fluids in combination with a drying environment, such as heated rooms or air-conditioned offices, can cause the scalp to dry out. Prevent it by increasing the amount of water and by changing the shampoo if necessary.
You are drowsy, even if you have enough sleep.
When your body is dehydrated, it does not work as well as it should. According to the British National Health Service (NHS), fatigue and fatigue are often signs of dehydration.
If you know that the previous night you have a full eight hours of sleep, but you still feel lumber, you can try to drink a few glasses of water.
