Introducing the new sports members of the Audi Q3 family: lower and exclusive

"The previous generation Audi RS Q3 has become the first model in the segment and we are continuing this success story with a new compact ultra-powerful off-roader," says Oliver Hoffman, CEO of Audi Sport GmbH. "And with the launch of the new Audi RS Q3 Sportback, a progressive SUV coupe, we are pioneering new trends and taking full advantage of the Audi Sport's phenomenal growth potential."

Athletic: Exterior design

The Audi RS Q3 and Audi RS Q3 Sportback are synonymous with outstanding power and exceptional performance, and these features are reflected in their looks. The shiny black grille with three-dimensional honeycomb pattern is small mounted and integrated into the RS bumper, which has large air inlets. The impressive boomerang boomerang sleeves are specially designed for the RS Q3.

Featuring a distinctive and compact roof line that slides to the rear, the 1557mm RS Q3 Sportback is 45mm lower than the RS Q3. The Sportback's prominent lateral lines extend lower than those of the cousin, creating a visually lower center of gravity for more athletic looks and larger wheels. The two powerful Audi Sport cars highlight their features with expressive and wider 10mm bows.

Sports SUVs feature LED headlights as standard, optional matrix LED headlights, dynamic cornering lights and special RS dark trick packages. The tail lights also have LED technology.

Exceptional features: equipment

In the Audi Q3 family, the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback are sporty high-performance sports headlights: five-cylinder, 294 kW (400 hp), 480 Nm of torque, all-wheel drive. The five-cylinder engine has already become a modern classic, and last year Audi Sport developed the 2.5th TFSI engine for the ninth consecutive year with the Highest International Engine of the Year award.

The engine achieves maximum torque at an extremely wide rpm from 1950 to 5850 rpm. The Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback accelerate to 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds, and top speed is limited to electronics at 250 km / h or (optional) 280 km / h.

Less than 50 cm long, the 2.5 TFSI engine is extremely compact and weighs 26 kg less than the previous version. The truck is made of aluminum, which has reduced its weight by 18 kg.

The five-cylinder engine power is transmitted via the seven-speed S-throne automatic transmission in the all-wheel-drive quattro system, where torque is distributed between the axles with multiple disc coupling. The individual wheel torque control system ensures safe and steering maneuverability.

Audi's dynamic steering system allows you to set different operating modes, engine features and sound for the quattro drive and other components such as steering, suspension, S tronic gearbox. There are five or six modes, depending on the configuration selected: comfort, automatic, dynamic, efficiency and individual. Instead of "individual" mode, two new "RS", "RS1" and "RS2" modes are available. The MMI system allows the driver to set and save options for these modes, and the RS MODE button on the steering wheel provides a quick selection of two modes.

With the standard RS sports suspension, the model is 10mm lower than the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback, and sports suspension settings are specially tuned for precise control of powerful models. RS's advanced steering system also helps you rotate corners with precision and speed.

For the first time ever, the powerful compact Audi Sport SUV also offers a variety of 21 "wheels. The standard 20" or optional 21 "planes come with all new six-valve RS brake pads with 375 mm (front) and 310 mm ventilated and perforated. (rear, non-perforated) brake discs.

The Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback are also available with RS Sport plus suspension and DCC Dynamic Chassis Control System, with electric valves to adjust the stiffness of the shock absorber. Audi power select Dynamic Body Tilt Sensor Management System Changes the operation of the optional RS Sport Plus with shock absorber control.

The athletic appearance is also reflected in the interior of the car. Air conditioning control, center panel and MMI touch screens are tilted to the driver by 10 degrees – the entire front of the cab was designed with the driver in mind.

Optionally, optionally available is Audi's larger virtual cockpit, plus a virtual gearshift warning lamp, which offers higher gear. Also, special readings on the RS Virtual Dashboard show information such as tire pressure, torque, power, turning time, acceleration forces and acceleration data.

Spacious: Salon concept and equipment

The rear seats can be slid back and forth in the 150mm range (RS Q3 Sportback 130mm), with three individually folded rear seats with seven fixed positions. The luggage compartment has 530 l, with seat backrests up to 1525 l (RS Q3 Sportback 1400 l).
