The South Korean electronic company Samsung Electronics presented a foldable screen on which you can convert your smartphone to a tablet, defining the company as the future of mobile devices.
On Wednesday, senior vice president of San Francisco, Jastin Denison, revealed the folded smartphone prototype, indicating that the company will be ready to introduce mass production of these screens in the coming months.
Denison did not provide information about when a folding Samsung smartphone could reach consumers.
"This screen is the backbone of the future smartphone, and when it's open, it's a tablet that offers a great experience on the screen, and when it's closed, it's a phone that you can put in your pocket," said Denison.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of this week, Royole from California announced that he would offer the world's first folding folding smartphone. The FlexPai smartphone is available for orders with a starting price of $ 1,381 (€ 1147).
