Japanese actress Savajiri Erika arrested for drug possession: Shiner Wind

Japan's top actor and singer Savajiri Erika, 33, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly possessing drugs, local media reported.

Japanese media, including NHK and Sunkai Shimbun, reported on Saturday afternoon that Savajiri Erika has been arrested for possession of a synthetic drug, MDMA (Ecstasy).

A police investigator said the arrest of Savadjiri Erika "should be announced in detail soon" Because drug allegations in Japan are treated as criminal offenses, Savadjiri Erika's entertainment business is likely to stop.
