How prevalent smoking is in adults and young people
Unfortunately, speaking of smoking, according to WHO, despite the percentage of people who smoke has decreased in many parts of the world, there are more smokers in absolute numbers than ever, not to mention that smoking, besides harming their health, has very severe impact on the environment.
Unfortunately, for many young Europeans it is no better, a study actually found in the 11-15 year range of new smokers from the 1990s onwards, especially in southern Europe.
And in Italy, according to the Global Youth Tobacco Survey, a 13-year-old is already smoking, and teenagers have a boom in electronic cigarettes. In short, the problem that, despite the many campaigns promoted to quit smoking, continues to rage almost everywhere.
Hopefully it's shocking video from the blackened lungs posted on social media made you think!
