Clothing company Nike has announced that it will no longer sell its products directly on Amazon. Nike launched a partnership with Amazon in 2017 to try to counter the sale of counterfeit products on a third-party e-commerce site: this collaboration includes Amazon banning Nike products through brokers. But now Nike has decided to end the program and start selling products exclusively on its website, as stated by the company's CEO Bloomberg: "As part of Nike's efforts to improve the consumer experience through more direct and personal relationships, we have decided to complete our experimental program with Amazon. We will continue to invest in Nike's strong and distinctive partnerships with other retailers and platforms to serve our customers worldwide. " according to Bloomberg, however, Nike's products will continue to be available on Amazon, sold by brokers.
