EU Roaming: Wind Tro predicts 2020 surcharge adjustment – MondoMobileWeb.it | Telephony offer

With the introduction of European legislation Roaming as home, each year, operators reduce the predicted coefficient on extra roaming navigation and increase the amount of data traffic that can be used each month. Wind Tri will adjust to reduce the overhead at roaming in advance, with both brands.

Wind Tre's customers can always use their offer in the European Union to send and receive text messages in the same national conditions. As for that, instead data traffic consumption, this is allowed up to a maximum in the reference month, which can always be consulted on the websites of both brands for a specific offer made by the customer.

To date, it is by December 1, 2019, Wind Tre is authorized to charge a surcharge (Regulation 2016/2286) from 0.549 cents per megabyte spent, VAT included. But soon this value will change.

In case of Wind, December 2, 2019, the surcharge applied by the operator shall be equal to 0.427 euro cents for each megabyte spent, until December 31, 2020.

In other words, the brand envisages adjusting to January 2, 2019, which must start strictly from January 1, each year, to 2022, which allows for a reduction in overtime each time as the volume of available traffic increases.

As for the brand three to the joint operator Wind Tere, the adjustment will take place from the first renewal of the offer effective November 18, 2019 for customers who did not travel to the European Union before renewal, otherwise immediately November 18, 2019 for those who have not made traffic in the European Union.

With the change in the price of Giga within the European Union, the usable traffic threshold is increased, according to the standard formula for calculating the maximum limit that can be used abroad under national conditions.

Specifically, for 2019 the formula in force was as follows: Volume of GB = [importo della propria spesa mensile (IVA esclusa) /4,5] x 2. This new formula has replaced the current limit for the whole of 2018: Volume of GB =[TotalMonthlyExpense(VATexcluded)/[importodellapropriaspesamensile(IVAesclusa)/[износнавашиотмесечентрошок(безДДВ)/[importodellapropriaspesamensile(IVAesclusa)/6]x 2.

Now for 2020, the border will be lowered to 3.5 euros excluding VAT, so the formula will be as follows: Volume of GB = [importo della propria spesa mensile (IVA esclusa) /3,5] x 2.
