Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided not to allow former Justice Minister Eilety Shakid (New Right) to run with the Likud party, Israel Hiio reported.
According to the newspaper, the decision was made after several Likud ministers stressed their unwillingness to add Shaked to the list.
A senior official for Netanyahu said: "I have not worked for years, spitting blood in preliminary elections and events, so Ajewel Shaked could expel me from the list and take control of Likud's top spots."
Another minister told Netanyahu that unlike Likud's merger with Kulanu, by returning to Likud, he will meet with an iron wall if he ever comes. That minister also vowed to oppose the move and ensure that it does not pass.
"If anyone dares to bring him, members of the center will immediately explain that there is nothing to talk about," he said.
A Likud source near Netanyahuas noticed that "Sarah [Netanyahu] he hated Ayet Shakespeare many years. "
With Likud outside, Shaked's options are either to run with the New Right Party again, or to join a larger United Law.
