EASTENDERS fans were in hysterics at Phil Mitchell's reaction to Ben Mitchell's son snapping the Callum Highway boyfriend in the kitchen tonight's episode of the show.
The Walford hard man was left exasperated when he walked in on the two men passionately making out following an emotional chat.
Quickly noticing the intimate moment, Phil decided to make a hasty exit from the kitchen, with Ben and Callum seemingly none the wiser that they'd been spotted.
Later, Phil warns wife Sharon: "I'd miss the kitchen if I were you, Ben is entertaining."
Sparking the conflict, he controversially added: "I'll make sure he doesn't do that when Denny's around. In fact, it'd be better if he kept it out of the house all together."
Viewers at home found the moment hilarious, taking to Twitter to share their reaction.
One wrote: "Absolutely howling at Phil just walking straight back out of the room."
Another added: "Phil walking in on Ben and Callum kissing made me laugh so much."
A third said: "The genuine shock yet calm in Phil's face as he witnesses the snogging actually kills me."
Phil has come a long way when it comes to accepting his son's sexuality, with the character famously refusing to refer to Paul Coker as Ben's boyfriend after he was murdered in a homophobic attack.
A shock turn earlier this month saw Phil tell hospital staff that Callum was "family" when he tried to visit Ben as he recovered from being shot by Hunter Owen.
Callum has been shown struggling with admitting that he is gay, and was rocked in tonight's episode of the show when ex-fiancee Whitney Dean returned home after calling off their wedding.

After getting drunk he heads to Ben's house, planting a kiss on him – only for Ben to reject him when he pursues him further.
Ben said: "From where I'm standing, the only time you can handle me is when you have had a skinful."
This prompted an emotional Callum to fire back: "What? You don't want me now?"
But rather than getting into a war of words, Ben pulled a tearful Callum into a tender embrace and reassured him that they would get through this struggle together.
