JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Eric Tohir explained why he appointed Arife Prasetio Adi as chairman of PT Rajavali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) or RNI.
Arie himself is the former chairman of the PT food station, Yipinang Yaya.
The company is a regional company DKI akakarta (BUMD) which deals with the food sector.
“Yesterday I withdrew Mr. Arie from Food Station, yes, we saw this because the Food Station in Akakarta is great and we want to attract it,” Eric said at a webinar on Thursday (19/11/2020).

Arife was appointed RNI Managing Director to replace Eco Taufik Vibovo, who was removed from his position.
Arife served as managing director of the PT food station, Yipinang Yaya, from 2015 to 2020.
RNI itself will be designated the parent company of the BUMN food group formed by Eric.
PT RNI will oversee eight state-owned food companies. Eight companies, namely PT Berdikari (Persero), PT Perikanan Nusantara (Persero), Perum Perikanan Indonesia, PT Pertani (Persero), PT Sang Hyang Seri (Persero), PT Garam (Persero), PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) and PT Banda Gara Rexha (Persero).
“We are trying to map import, production, withdrawal, primary processing, warehousing, trading, distribution, retail, we will connect,” Eric said at a webinar on Thursday (19/11/2020).
