Should your heart beat after exercise?

Not only after exercise, several other things can also cause heart palpitations, including:

Caffeine consumption This is the most common cause of palpitations. Caffeine can stimulate the autonomic nervous system, which is an involuntary nervous system.

One of these nerves controls the work of the heart. You may also experience a higher heart rate after consuming caffeine, such as tea and coffee.

Dehydrated

Losing a lot of fluids in the body can actually cause dehydration. When you are seriously dehydrated, you may feel nervousness, dry mouth, dark and dark urine and muscle cramps.

Dehydration can cause changes in the body's electrolytes and lower blood pressure. This can cause stress to the body that causes abnormal heartbeat.

Panic attack

If you feel like your heart is stopping, especially when you are facing a situation, you may experience panic attacks. Other symptoms that often accompany panic attacks are shaking and cold sweating.

Panic attacks are not dangerous, but they can be very stressful. Meanwhile, irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia) can also sometimes cause panic attacks.

Anemia

Most anemia is caused by a lack of iron in the body. If you have anemia, it means your body does not make enough red blood cells to carry oxygen and nutrients to the tissues.

Although not always causing palpitations, anemic people – especially chronic ones – may complain of a harder heartbeat.

Heart palpitations after exercise in some cases is normal, which indicates that you rarely exercise.

To prevent this from happening, warm up for a few minutes before exercising. Also, adjust the intensity of your workout, starting from mild to moderate, to gain weight so that your body and heart are not surprised.
