TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The Committee on the Elimination of Corruption (CPC) recorded 27 manual operations (OTT) throughout 2018.
Hundreds of regional bosses have been named suspects by an anti-corruption institution, including Regent Pakpak Bharat and Remigo Yolando Berutu.
The president of the CPC Agus Rahardjo expressed concern that there are still heads of regions who carried out corrupt practices.

"If we look at this year 2018, it is the 27th OTT, so we should once again get interested in one of the regional leaders, very worried, concerned about why this is happening", said KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo in the KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (18/11/2018).
The OTT CCP should be the material for government evaluation.
Agus assured that Regent Pakpak Bharat Remigo Yolando Berutu was the 104th regional head who was arrested by the NCP.

"Once again, the CPK deeply regrets the incident of alleged bribery against the regional head that is still repeating itself," Agus said.

Remigo was arrested in direct action with the head of the Pakistani district of the PUPR district in Pakpak, David Anderson Karosigus (DAK).

Quiet operations were carried out in three different cities, namely Medan, Jakarta and Bekasi.
In addition to Remigo and David, the NCP arrested the private sector, Hendriko Sembiring.
The CPC also arrested Regent's attorney from the Pakpak Bharat District, Jufri Mark Bonardo Simanjuntaka; honorary employee of Pakpak Regency Public Works Office, Bharat Syekhani; and private, Reza Pahlevi.
Remigo, David and Hendriko were named suspects. They are suspected of a violation of article 12 letter a and article 12 letter b or article 11 of Act No. 31 of 1999 on combating criminal acts of corruption as amended by Act No. 20 of 2001 on the liquidation of corruption crimes in connection with art. 55 sec. 1 of the Criminal Code, jo article 65 para. 1 of the Criminal Code.
