Skullcandy is a young company in audio space compared to many of the established names, since it was founded in 2003 in the United States. The brand's positioning and design denote a modern approach to personal audio products, with unique colors and styling inspired by pop culture. Skullcandy has now launched its latest product in India, Skullcandy Push. Push is a pair of really wireless headphones that come with a custom charging housing, and is estimated at Rs. 9,999. Headphones are available at various local and online stores across the country starting today.
Skullcandy Push is the first truly wireless audio product of the company, and is the latest in a trend that sees different headsets manufacturers entering a real wireless product. This segment was popularized by Apple AirPods, which, although not the first such product, has turned the concept of widespread attention. Skullcandy has been in the space for wireless headphones for some time, and Push is among the most affordable options of the premium audio brand.
The Skullcandy Push headphones are water resistant and work on Bluetooth version 4.2. The frequency band range is referred to as 20-20,000Hz, and the battery lasts up to 12 hours between the headset and the charging headset. It is said that the earphones serve 6 hours per charge, and the case can complement the battery of the two buds once, providing an additional six hours of charging.
