- Reliance packaging with ZEO bags is used to win for seven days
- The company had two packages with bags on offer – 9 and 52 Rs
- Ioio seems to have removed the sachet packs after the introduction of IUC Top-Ups
- Jio's assurance has yet to officially announce the removal of the bags
Reliance ioio quietly removed packages of 19 RS and 52 RS that were available to the company's prepaid customers prior to the introduction of IUC Top-Ups. The RS 19 sachet package offers benefits for one day, while the RS 52 plans deliver a seven-day validity. That said, Reliance Jio's combo plans for prepaid customers now start at 98 Rs and offer benefits for 28 days from top up. Following the introduction of IUC Top-ups, Reliance Jio users are forced to make an additional charge of Rs 10 or up to Rs 1,000 to dial on other networks such as Airtel, Vodafone Idea, BSNL and MTNL. We currently do not have any official information on why the company removed these bags, but this is foreseeable as it makes no sense for customers to refill the bags with the IUC Top-Ups.
Union's Saatchi packages removed: What could be the reason?
For the unconscious, Reliance ioio launched the aforementioned Sachet prepaid packages back in January 2018, along with the unlimited combo and long-term prepaid plans. As for the benefits, the Rs 19 package is used to offer unlimited FUP unlimited voice calling, 150MB of 4G data and 20 SMSs per day. Packages of Rs 52 packages with 1.05 GB data benefit, unlimited voice calls and 70 SMS for a week or seven days. Also, these packages offer free access to the contents of Jio applications, such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioSaavn and so on.
By removing these sachet packages, Reliance Jio's unlimited combo packages now start at 98 Rs and offer 2 GB of 4G data, unlimited voice calls and 300 SMSs over a 28 day period.
The removal of these prepaid packages from Reliance Jio comes immediately after the introduction of the IUC Top-Up vouchers. The ioio IIO IUC vouchers start at 10 rounds and continue up to 1,000 pounds, offering up to 14,074 minutes of talk time to other networks.
It makes no sense for Jio prepaid customers who are charged Rs 19 or Rs 52 packages to choose any of the minimum 10 Rs voucher-IUC vouchers. from the IUC top-up vouchers, then the total price comes to a minimum of 29 RS and above.
Ioio Client Confirmation Unsatisfied with the introduction of the IUC vouchers
Back on September 5, 2016, Reliance Jio President Mukesh Ambani announced that ioioo will offer free voice calls for a lifetime, but the company broke the promise by introducing IUC Top-Up vouchers. Reliance ioio it has a wide range of prepaid plans that offer an incredible 5 GB of data per day and all these plans provide unlimited voice benefit to the users. But ioio now charges 6ppm for every voice call made to another network and customers are not happy with the move.
Both Airtel and Vodafone Idea have said they will continue to offer unlimited voice calls and there will be no additional costs as they are GSM operators, not just LTE operators like Reliance Jio. Yesterday, ioioo said it exceeded 350 million subscriber core signs and continues to add more than 10 million new users every month. However, it will be interesting to see how these numbers change in the coming months or current quarter, as yo customers are ready to make a move to other operators.
