Singer, voice actor and campaigner of sexual harassment #MeToo, Chinmayi Sripaada was apparently removed from the Tamil Nadu dubbing association, citing the non-payment of "subscription fees" for the last two years.

In October this year she filed charges of inappropriate sexual behavior veteran lyricist Vairamuthu. She also supported two women who claimed to be sexually inappropriate Radha Ravi who heads South Indian Cine, Television Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union (SICTADAU). Incidentally, Chinmayi wrote on Twitter about Radha Ravi on October 9, stating: "I see now that my Dubbing career is on the rise in smoke, managing the union of dubbing."

The singer, who is on a US tour, received a message on Twitter that her membership was terminated without any discussion or written correspondence, only the message was sent to her.

This effectively means that it can no longer dub in Tamil movies, because dubbing membership in a relationship is mandatory in the industry.

In a series of tweets she mentioned that the last movie, 96 (in which she appeared on behalf of Trisha Krishnan) will be the last film of the voice actor, if the termination continues. She added that it was a really good movie that ended her Tamil dubbing career.

IN NewsMinute reportRadha Ravi denied that for two years she was a member of the South Indian Cine, Television Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union. He said that the judge who supervised the dubbing election stated that he could not be a member because he did not pay a membership fee.

It is also said that "for the last two years she was dismissed from work and could only be dubbed because she is a known artist".

Chinmayi, who had worked as an artist-speaker since 2006, was at the forefront stressing the claims of sexual harassment in the Indian music industry, including what is generally considered the Ind Me Me too movement.

She accused her of sexual harassment at the hands of Vairamuth in a series of tweets from a month ago. In addition, she also stressed the claims of other people against OS Thyagarajan, Raghu Dixit, Mandolin U Rajesh, a singer playing Karthik and several other Carnatic musicians.
