Formation of Maharashtra Gauth in IVV: Fully fulfilled KM promise made for Balasaheb, says Sanaj Raut of Senna

Senna also accused the BJP of intending to engage in "horse trading" in the state, which has been in power since the November 12th President. The party led by Thackeray fell to the BJP over the division of chief minister posts after the two allies won a comfortable majority in last month's parliamentary polls.

The lonely Sena minister in Narendra Modi's government, Arvind Savant, resigned on November 11th. "I learned that the meeting (of NDA voters) was held on November 17th. We had already decided not to attend the meeting given the developments in Maharashtra … our minister to resign from the Central government, "said Sanjay Raut.

Asked if the only official announcement about the NDA's exit from the NDA remains, Raut said, "You can say that. There is no problem in saying that." He also said that "we want Udav-Yi to lead the government in Maharashtra". Senna, the NCP and Congress have reached a consensus on the Joint Minimum Program (FMP), the basis of their proposed coalition government, and there was no need to discuss it in Delhi, Raut said.

NDP leader Harad Pavar convened a meeting of his party's core committee in Pune on Sunday. He is due to meet senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel in Delhi next week, and a meeting with Congress President Sonya Gandhi may follow to discuss the KP and other coalition modalities with the Senate, sources said.

Earlier in the day, Sanaa spokeswoman Sahana stepped up the attack on the BJP in its editorial over a statement by BJP state chief Chandrakant Patil. Patil said on Friday that, with the support of the Independents, his party's 288-member Parliament list would be 119 and would form a government soon. The BJP's own strength is 105.

"Those with 105 seats have previously told the governor they do not have a majority. How do they now claim that they alone will form the government? ”Asked Senna's mouth. "… the intention to trade in horses is now exposed," he added.

The Maharashtra was brought to power by the President on November 12, after no party or alliance had agreed to form a government. Senna reached the Congress-NHP support mix after her alliance with the BJP collapsed.

The BJP and the Seine, which won the union's October 21 election, secured a comfortable majority by winning 105 and 56 seats, respectively. Congress and the NDP, allies ahead of the poll, won 44 and 54 seats.

Meanwhile, former chief minister Devendra Hednavis was quoted as saying the BJP would form the government. The BJP held a meeting of its defeated candidates here on Saturday. BJP head of state Chandrakant Patil told reporters that Hadnavis had expressed confidence that the party would form a government.
