Comedy Act by Yashi Tarror One Mick Stopped at Amazon Prime Videos

Yashi Taror shared a "sneak preview" of his act on "One Mic Stand".

New Delhi:

Congressman Yashi Taroor, who often has people looking for his vocabulary with his rich vocabulary and esoteric phrases, will be seen in a new role very soon: it makes people laugh.

On Wednesday, Mr Thor shared a "sneak preview" of his act on "One Mic Stand", a comedy show on the streaming platform Amazon Prime. In two hours, the clip has been viewed over 60,000 times on Twitter. The full episode will premiere on November 15.

The One Mic Stand series challenges five celebrities to challenge five professional comedians in front of a live audience. Mr Taror is associated with the popular comedian Kunal Kamra.

The minute clip shared by a lawmaker depicts him wearing a long white curling, golden T-shirt with an Indian national flag hanging over it.

The attacker has a short clip of his act, where he is seen making self-equivalent jokes about his vocabulary and his use of "complicated words". In the clip, he says "everything I say assumes that people are more complicated than it really is", backing it up with a real-life example where he entertains himself.

"I had a normal childhood like all of you guys, and my parents were ashamed too when guests came and said Jashi, uncle ko angrezi bolke sunao na, "he says.

The video received several comments praising the politician for both his humor and the ability to laugh at himself. The post received over 10,000 likes in two hours.

Responding to journalist Jahar Gupta's tweet on the show, Mr Tharoor said earlier: "It's not a new career move, people! Just a one-off session, recorded a few months ago in front of a live audience, made up mostly of Millennials. 25 minutes of stand-up, of which they will broadcast 6 to 8 minutes, I believe. I don't know if my political jokes made the cut…. ”

The first season of the star-studded show features a series of Indian stand-up comedy stars such as Sapan Verma, Rohan Yoshi, among others who will come out against celebrities, including actors Taapsse Panu and Richa Jada, singer Vishal Dudlani.
