Akshay, whose name is listed in the Ranjit Singh Justice Commission's report on incitement to desecration, has already denied organizing any meeting between former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhir Singh Badal and the head of the Dera Sasha Sauda Section Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
The actor also denied having ever met the head of Dera, based in Sears, who is currently sentenced to twenty years in two rape cases.

Kumar announced the denial on November 12, after SIT summoned along with former chief of staff Pahash Singh Badal and the head of the United States, Sukhbir Singh Badal.

"I think some rumors and false statements are loosely made to social media for my engagement with a person named Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in the context of a fictitious meeting involving Sukhbir Singh Badal," said Akshay Kumar in a tweet.

"With all humility, I would like to point out the following facts: I never met Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in my life, everywhere. I learned from the social media at some point that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh stayed for some time in a place in my Yuhu location Mumbai, but we have never crossed the paths of others, "Kumar said in the place of micro-blogging.

SIT is already questioning former Chief Minister Pahash Singh Badal and his son Sukhir Singh Badal in Chandigarh.

Sukhbir told members of SIT on Monday that he had never met Akshay before Punjab, asking if he had met the actor in Mumbai.

Justice Report Ranjit Singh's report, submitted to the Punjab assembly in August, referred to a letter written on October 9, 2017 by former MLA Harbans Jalal, arguing that Dera's head and former deputy K. actor's apartment in Mumbai in 2015 to facilitate the release of Gurmeet's Ram Ramh Singh MSG in Punjab.

The meeting was allegedly held before Dera's head, who was pardoned in the case of blasphemy. The MSG movie could not be released in Punjab in September 2015, due to the decree of Akal Taht, the supreme temporal seat of the Sikhs, against him.

The invitation was issued in connection with the Bargari case, and the police shoot at Behbal Kalan and Kotkopura.

The five-member SIT was formed by state power in September this year, shortly after the issuance of a notice of withdrawal of the investigation into incriminating incidents by Guru Grant Sahib from the CBI.
