Ravi Patvardhan, a veteran actor known for his work in Hindi and Marathi cinema as well as theater, has died at the age of 84.
The actor reportedly died of age-related health problems Sunday morning.
In his career, which began in the late 1970s, Ravi Patvardhan has played various roles in numerous films, TV shows and plays. One of his notable Hindi film roles came to Tezab. He has also starred in films such as Hannyar, Bond and Yeshvant.
Sunil Bosl, the producer of Patvardan TV show Agabai Sasubai, confirmed the news to Indianexpress.com. He said: “I only talked to him about fifteen days ago because we had to start filming for our show. Due to Covid-19’s limitations, we made some changes to the story so that he could shoot from home. He fired until the very end. He died of age-related health problems; he was 84 years old. “He had two heart attacks in February and recovered.”
“While he was shooting from home, I told him it would be great to see him on sets in the Covid-19 post. He said: “I’m not sure if that will happen.”
