Spain would also stop selling diesel and gasoline cars from 2040


According to the information up to 2050, the draft law on climate change and energy transfers would completely prohibit the use by 2012. Vehicles with direct carbon dioxide with internal combustion engines from the Spanish market until 2050.

According to an idea that has not yet been described in detail, parallel progress should be made in the area of ​​gradual development of electric transport, such as the creation of electric fuel stations at gas stations.

Vehicles sold in Spain in October this year accounted for 57.1 percent of gasoline, 36.5 percent of diesel fuel and 6.4 percent of alternatives.

In line with the global climate change in Paris in 2015, Spain will have to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2030. Compared with 1990, with at least 40% in the European Union.
