A psychopath who led the sex sect was sentenced to 120 years in prison

Keith Ranier, who led a pyramid-like sex sect, was sentenced by a New York court to life in prison on Tuesday. One of the crown witnesses in the lawsuit was the famous serial actress Alison Mack, who for years helped the 60-year-old man as a swordsman, but filed a lawsuit with the authorities.

Keith Ranier, the founder of a sex sect called NXIVM (Nexium), showed no remorse even after he was remanded in custody last June. CNN reports that even in prison, he tried to prove his innocence, despite being accused of abusing hundreds of women for nearly 20 years.

The 60-year-old man was convicted of fencing, sex trafficking, sexual violence against minors and human trafficking.

“Keith Ranier will no longer be able to make more sacrifices after today’s verdict and we are very grateful for that.

Seth DuCarm, a New York attorney general, said after the verdict was announced.

“Hearing the victims’ confessions, he was shocked at how much Ranier had abused people’s trust and tried to give their lives meaning and hope in the most insidious way.

The 15 victims of the convict spoke or submitted their written statements to the Federal Court in Brooklyn, Johnon Marzouli, a spokesman for the East York prosecutor’s office, told CNN. One of Ranier’s victims was a 15-year-old girl.

Alison Mack, the actress who played the ten-year-old TV series Smallville until 2011, did not swim in the indictment. He was accused of recruiting sex slaves for Ranier as one of the leaders of the blackmail sect.

The actress would have been in jail for a long time if her mother had not paid $ 5 million bail for her, which allowed her daughter to defend herself in the open.

One of the conditions of Alison Mack’s temporary release was that she had to wear an ankle light and maintain contact with someone from the sect.

Alison Mack, the protagonist of the TV series Smallville, was also one of the sect’s detractors.

According to the court, Keith Ranier intimidated members of the sect by not tolerating contradiction. The 60-year-old man broke the will of women and young girls under his control with humiliation and public humiliation.
